HOW TO REMOVE MAKEup stains / oil MARKS
This trick can be used across all shirt materials.
Use clear washing up liquid (not coloured as this can stain the fabric) add a small amount to the stained area.
Rub the fabric together gently, working the washing up liquid into the stain. Some warm water can be added to help.
Once you think the stain or oil mark has gone rinse the washing up liquid out and then wash your shirt like normal.
This is also a great trick to remove suncream stains around necklines and collars.
Washing up liquid is a great degreaser and so will break down any oils making marks/stains easier to be washed out.
Try to avoid contact with jewellery or rough surfaces as this could cause pulling and the silk fibres to be damaged.
Lotions, oils and perfume (being sprayed directly onto the scarf) can cause discolouration.
